Wear whatever clothes feel comfortable for you to move and stretch in. There’s no “right way” to look when practicing yoga :)

If you've never done yoga before, it's a wonderful opportunity to explore a practice that welcomes individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and body types. Yoga is not about achieving a perfect pose; it’s about connecting with your body and mind in a way that feels right for you.

Starting yoga can be intimidating, but remember that everyone was a beginner at some point. The focus of yoga is on personal growth and self-acceptance, rather than comparison with others. Each pose and movement can be adapted to suit your needs, ensuring that you feel comfortable and supported.

As you begin your yoga practice, focus on your breath and the sensations within your body. Listen to what feels good for you, and give yourself permission to take breaks or modify poses as needed. Your yoga practice is yours alone, and it should reflect your unique experiences and identity.

Approach each class with an open mind and heart, and remember that progress is personal and can look different for everyone. Embrace the journey of self-discovery and enjoy the benefits that yoga can bring to your life, both on and off the mat.
